The inspiration for the Lumino line is based on our experience that exfoliating daily with salts, followed by moisturizing tropical and desert oils, and a weekly application of a detoxifying clay mask produces healthy and beautiful skin.

The largest organ of the body, skin, is responsible for one-fourth of the body's detoxification.   Clogged pores are not just a cosmetic concern, healthy breathing skin contributes to the overall well-being of the body.   A good body scrub opens the pores and removes harmful toxins and debris.

One of the issues with aging is the slowing of cell turnover, resulting in thinner skin, and the accumulation of dead skin cells.   The result is dull skin with a rough, flaky texture.   An effective exfoliant removes the top layer of dead skin cells.   Your natural "glow" returns, your skin produces more cells, and the "thinning" begins to reverse.

Clay masks have been used for skin clarification for thousands of years.   They work by filling the smallest lines, wrinkles, and pores of the skin.   It is necessary to access these fine nooks and crannies to reach deeply lodged oil and dirt particles.   As the mask is gently massaged into the skin, it absorbs these undesirable particles.   The toxins, impurities, and dead skin cells adhere to the clay and are removed as you wash off the mask.
