This is the Diatomaceous Earth (DE) your family, friends, and co-workers are talking about. They have discovered its many health benefits and uses for their pets and around the home.

Regardless of the reasons you are interested in DE, with Lumino you are buying the best quality. All Food Grade DE is not identical. The end product can vary depending on where it is extracted and how it is processed. Lumino DE is whitish, neutral tasting, and odorless. Other Food Grades can be dark, unsavory, and odorous.

The USDA has allowed DE for agricultural use since the 1960's. Numerous studies have shown feeding DE results in improved animal health and growth. The recommended amount is 2% dry weight. If mixed with water, use one teaspoon per cup of liquid.

As someone who has used DE every day for over a decade, I am still amazed at the many uses for this product. It is a marvelous alternative to many toxic chemicals, as well as a natural beauty aid for both people and pets.

A few of the many uses for DE:

Lightly dust pets' bedding. DE will absorb oils, dirt, and smells. Keeps kennel areas dry and odor free.
A natural deodorizer for garbage cans, vacuum cleaner bags, and refrigerator.
Mix with water to form a paste to polish silver and clean jewelry.
DE is used in facial masks and scrubs to absorb impurities and exfoliate dead skin cells.

Use a small amount of DE with toothpaste for a vigorous tooth polishing.
Add to kitty litter to reduce odor and moisture.

DE is a natural deodorizer for garbage cans, vacuum cleaner bags, refrigerators, and foot wear. Leave a very thin layer on carpets for a minimum of six hours before vacuuming to remove pet odors.

To make it safe for ALL pets, we incorporated hydrosols instead of essential oils. Hydrosols are similar to essential oils, only far less concentrated. This makes them safe for all pets, especially felines, which can be at risk when exposed to essential oils.
