Glucosamine, niacinamide, and organic jojoba oil have been combined to create an alternative to costly laser surgery for hyperpigmentation caused by sun and free radicals.

Results of a published double-blind study state that subjects using glucosamine and niacinamide for 12 weeks experienced an improvement in the appearance of wrinkles, a decrease in skin discoloration, less redness, and improved elasticity.
